The 105 Provost Company R.M.P

The 105 Provost Company R.M.P

was the Provost Company of the British Occupational Forces in Austria from 1945-1955 and was, previously, the Provost Company to the 8th Army in North Africa, Italy and Austria.

In addition to its occupational duties, throughout the British Zone of Austria, The 105 also provided The British contingent to The Four Power International Patrol in Vienna, as well as staffing the nefarious goings on at the 11 Bezirk. Detachment.

The 105 Club Austria

Was formed as the Re-union and contact organization for all past members of

The 105 Provost Company and their families.

As well as the Annual Reunions there were several local groups regularly meeting around the U.
K.

Members also received copies of THE 105 JOURNAL as they were published. Sadly, as membership has reduced, together with finances, The Reunions have been shelved and The Journals abandoned. Contact will now be via this website and between individual members.
